Classroom Rules and Expectations 

Rules & Responsibilities

* Each student must sign a behavior and homework contract at the beginning of the school year. This information is posted within our classroom and must be upheld by each student.

* Please contribute to making our classroom atmosphere positive and fun!

* Treat others how you want to be treated. Remember, we should bring our classmates up, not push them down!

*Please come to class prepared and ready to learn!

Consequences for Behavior

In Miss. Albano's classes we use a "Daily Student Tracking" sheet to keep ourselves prepared and on task. Each day you will fill out your own form that will then be signed by me. If you have checks in all areas then you will receive my "Cardinal Cash" which will be put in a drawing for prizes at the end of the week. My behavior system is as follows:

2 verbal warnings ("What are you doing? What should you be doing? Are you doing that? If not, what are you going to do?")

3 warnings= disciplinary action/call home (and loss of cardinal cash)

Consequences for Homework

Homework is due on the date that it is assigned and completed to the best of your ability. If you come to class without your homework you will have to stay for afterschool guided study...NO EXCEPTIONS. You will receive an afterschool guided study ticket which you will give to the attending teacher. They will sign your ticket, attach it to your completed work, and then they will give the work to me themselves. Plan on staying in guided study kids until the work is completed.

* Notebook/binder for each subject area

* Daily Agenda

* Pens, highlighters, pencils, calculator, post-it notes
