Week of Feb. 6th See link on left for homework assignments! Announcements: - Happy February! Please check this page often for classroom updates.
- Science: Our current unit is Chemical Interactions. The chapter 1 quiz will be Wednesday, February 15th. The Unit Test will be Wednesday, February 29th.
- Reading: We are working in centers for the next several weeks. Groups were made based on the iReady results from the diagnostic testing. Our group will be working on informational texts. New reading groups will start the 3rd quarter.
- We welcome Miss Anvelt to our Science and Reading class. She is a Junior at St. Bonaventure studying education, and will be with us until May on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- There is no school Monday, February 20th or Tuesday, February 21st.
- Start saving your pennies! The annual Penny for Paws Campaign starts soon.
- Our class has a Facebook page! It is listed under the name Beaver Sixth. It will be used to increase communications, discuss homework, and talk about projects. Check it out!
- School Supplies for 6th graders: Please check with your child regarding school supplies such as pencils and loose leaf paper. Students sometimes come to class unprepared with these basic items.
