Reading: Starting on Monday, March 15th we will be focusing on parallell tasks, and reading strategies that will help students perform well on the NYS ELA Test. We will be using a workbook titled READ, WRITE, EDIT, & LISTEN as our main resource. Past state tests will also be used to prepare the students. Math: Starting on Monday, March 15th, we will be focusing on preparing for the NYS Math Test. Several different resources will be used for class instruction and homework. Many assignments and classroom time instruction will be driven by the types of problems students miss when taking past tests as practice. Science: Our continuing unit is Rocks and Minerals. We will be finished this week. The unit test will be on Friday, March 19th.
