Best Chocolate Chip Cookies INGREDIENTS - 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon hot water
- dash salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, and then the vanilla.
- Dissolve the baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt.
- Mix in flour
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
- Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
Pizza Pinwheel Dippers - 3 Tbsp. Butter – melted
- ½ tsp. garlic salt
- ½ tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 can (13.8pz.) refrigerated pizza crust or bread dough
- 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- pepperoni slices
- Parmesan cheese
- Pizza or Marinara sauce for dipping
| PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder until well blended; set aside. | | UNROLL dough into 15x10-inch rectangle; brush with half of the butter mixture. Place cheese and pepperoni to within 1 inch of edges. Roll up dough to form a log. Pinch seams and ends together to seal. Position in center of lightly greased baking sheet. Brush with remaining butter mixture. Sprinkle lightly with parmesan cheese. | | BAKE 15 min. or until lightly browned. Let stand 5 min. Cut crosswise into 12 slices. Serve with the marinara sauce. |
