Welcome to Miss Miller's Room

          I can't believe we are almost half way through the school year!  The main focus of our reading class this year is using the Wilson Reading and Writing program for grades 3 and 4 and the Read 180 program for grade 5.  We also have weekly spelling and grammar practice.  

         All grades are posted in powerschool regularly so that you can track assignments as well as your progress.  If homework is assigned, it is due next day in the marked basket on my desk.  Any late work will lose 5 points per day it’s late

We have a weekly spelling list.  The list will is sent home at the beginning of each week and is also posted in Spelling City so that students may practice at home (here is the link http://www.spellingcity.com/stmiller/).  Spelling homework includes writing a paragraph using at least half of the weekly words which is due every Wednesday and writing each word 3 times which is due every Thursday.
