First Grade Class Supplies

Class Supplies

  Your child will need the following items:

sneakers for gym and daily exercise    

backpack for papers and books

 two 10 or 12 packs of #2 pencils, and 2 erasers a  

two pair of inexpensive headphones (the kind used for CD players or MP3 players; you can find them at the Dollar Store, outside the ear is best)

a photo from home to post in the classroom (it will be returned)

We have tables in our classroom rather than desks so there is limited storage for personal items. There is always a community supply of pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, glue, glue sticks, and so on at each table for all the children to use. Your child won't need a pencil box, but if you do choose to send one, please only send a small one. You don't have to send supplies but you may send some either for community use or for your child's own use. Please label any things that are for your child's use only, with your child's name. Otherwise I'll assume the items are being sent to school for the general use of the class.

Optional items include:

1 box of tissues

crayons (16 or 24 pack only)   

glue stick

2-black or blue dry erase markers or any dry erase crayons

 scissors (you many want to consider Wescott with Anti Microbial Protection)
