i-Ready

Is a new research based reading and math program available in Kindergarten through grade 8.  There is both a reading and math computer component that students can use both at home and school.  Parents will be receiving parent reports home from the classroom teacher explaining your childs progress.

Placement in Tier 2 Intervention:

Four times throughout the year all students will be taking an      i-ready test.  Testing is done in September, November, February and May.  Based on a students preformance on the reading portion of the test students are placed in tier 2 intervention with an AIS reading teacher.  We provide extra support for those students who score in profile 1 and 2 and who show a need for extra ELA instruction.
