              I am so excited to be working with all of you this year!  The main focus of our reading class this year is using the Wilson Reading and Writing program for grades 3-4 as well as Wonderworks which is part of the new school wide Wonders reading series .  We also have weekly spelling practice based upon our Wilson phonics lessons.  Check out the resources tab for more information on these programs.

             I am also  co-teaching math in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.

             All grades are posted in powerschool regularly so that you can track assignments as well as your progress.  If homework is assigned, it is due next day in the marked basket on my desk.  Any late work will lose 5 points per day it’s late

    We have a weekly spelling list.  The list will is sent home at the beginning of each week and is also posted in Spelling City so that students may practice at home (here is the link http://www.spellingcity.com/stmiller/).  Spelling homework includes choosing one of nine spelling activities to do three nights.  These are due Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
