On Wednesday, June 7, the National Honor Society had their end of the year banquet to honor all the hard work done throughout the year. Juniors received their Cattaraugus County certificates and three seniors received awards.
Mathurin Griffith received the Scholastic Excellence Award, which is given to the senior with the highest SAT score, along with a $200 bank check.
Torrey Smith received the Distinguished Service Award which is given to the senior who dedicates their time to others the most, along with a $200 bank check.
Katelyn Storer received the Distinguished Member Award, which goes to the senior that the chapter feels exhibits all four qualities (Scholarship, Service, Character, Leadership) of National Honor Society the best.
