Open House:
Elementary School: Thursday, August 29th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Middle/High School: Thursday, August 29th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Please join us to meet your child’s teachers and learn more about the exciting year ahead.
Athletic Complex Ribbon Cutting:
Due to track resurfacing, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Athletic Complex will be postponed until a later date. We will keep you informed as soon as a new date is scheduled.
First Day of School:
The first day of school for students will be Tuesday, September 3rd.

Last month, our 6th grade students went on an adventure to Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, where they learned about how human interaction has impacted various types of eagles, owls, and vultures. Throughout the tour, they also learned about other animals, such as the striped skunk, porcupine, and several different breeds of cats.

6th grade Art Club students went on an artsy adventure around Cattaraugus County! Their first stop was to try some of the delicious juice at Raw while also checking out the beautiful artwork that is displayed there. Next, they hiked at Griffis Sculpture Park where they got to enjoy the sculptures while immersed in nature. Their final stop was at St. Bonaventure's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. While there, students had the opportunity to tour two art galleries as well as participate in two art activities. Everyone had an awesome day!
1st graders recently visited the Erie Zoo where they took a tour as well as had the chance to learn all about different types of animal adaptations! They even got to meet a chinchilla named, "Ash." Thankfully, Mr. McElwain was the only one to have his lunch eaten by a chipmunk!

The RCS Robotics class and several 8th grade students competed in the local STEM Wars at the Jamestown Ice Arena on Thursday, May 23. Everyone did a great job!
