Recently, the RCS Elementary Drama Club presented the musical “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.” Based on the animated television Christmas special, the show featured a cast of 96 students ranging from pre-K through 6th grade. Through the rehearsal process, these students learned about how a musical is put together, practiced their songs and dances, and made lots of new friends and memories. More than two months of hard work culminated in three outstanding performances of the show for family, friends, and community members. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production!

Kindergarten students recently went on an Adventure to the Chautauqua Safety Village to learn about fire, gun, poison, and crosswalk safety. Students put what they had learned into action by practicing a fire drill out of a kitchen as well as through a bedroom window. Students also practiced crossing the street safely and even got to ride the Safety Village train around the kid-sized village.
